Machine setup in my.SENVEND

To be able to use the telemetry for your machine, you need to set it up in my.SENVEND in the first step.

1. Click on Machines.
2. Select New to create a new machine​
3. Turn on the machine. Here you will learn more details again, wie du deinen Automaten in der App anlegst
4. Connect a free terminal.
5. Create a location.
6. Select a location name and assign a URL (for the public website of your machine).
7. Enter the address (street & zip code).
8. Optionally, also enter the street in the upper field for display on the public website. Here you will find detailed information, how to create the location.
9. Optionally, fill out the help contact. Enter the number that customers should see for contacting in case of issues in the help area. how to set up the help center for your customers or how you can read and edit your customers' help notifications.
10. Now you can create the location simultaneously with machines

Terminal configuration in the app

Once your machine is set up, it's time to configure your terminal according to your needs and your machine:

1. Select your machine from the machine list.
2. Select the appropriate terminal.
3. Configure the terminal:
4. 1. Upload a screensaver.
   2. Configure the age verification.
   3. 1. Note whether the proactive age verification needs to be activated. Proactive age verification means that the screensaver is replaced by Start Age Verification. This is necessary for machines that do not automatically report for age verification.
   4. Activate Always Idle depending on the machine model.

Product planning in the app

Once your terminal is configured, we can configure your vending machine and the products.

1. Go to the configuration of the machine for product planning.
2. Under Add, you can create the products.
3. Under + you can create new products; alternatively, select from existing products.
4. In Administration, you can create new products (Administration -> Products).
5. Price including optional deposit (deposit included in the gross price) and specify sales tax
6. Name the selection (where the product can be found in the vending machine). Here you can also add multiple options if the product is available in several compartments of the vending machine.
7. Define the critical stock (optional). Critical stock refers to the point at which a warning should appear that the stock is below the threshold.
8. Define the reorder level (optional). This function is useful for packing lists: How far would you like to replenish this product by default?
9. Fill out the Maximum Capacity.
10. Enter the display number if it is not the same as the selection number. This is necessary, for example, with Sielaff machines, where the display number is not equal to the selection number.
11. Save the product.
12. Now go to the Inventory.
13. Change the inventory values here; restock your machine. You can either fill all products individually or alternatively fill them all at once (by selecting all and then clicking on refill/max value).

This way, you can quickly fill your vending machine with products at the beginning and effectively use the telemetry.
